A very nice entry although in the main the quality of the bitches seemed to outweigh the dogs although this may be down to the fact that there were a few single entry classes that contained puppies. Generally, all exhib-its were presented in a good clean condition but there were a couple that their owners needed to pay attention to the cleanliness of their teeth. If the owner cannot keep the teeth clean then this will spoil the exhibits chances of a high place. The weather started off sunny and dry, but when it was the turn of the bitch judging, the heavens opened accompanied by a fierce thunderstorm, with the decision made to delay the judging so as not to upset the young bitches.

PD (5,0) 1st Forsyth & Pevy Witchstone Won’t Be Silent By Richpin – 10mths old who has a lovely head shape, well filled muzzle, obliquely set eyes, correct ears and carriage, length of neck led into well angu-lated shoulders, body in balance and moved positively in both profile and coming and going. Think he will have a bright future. 2nd Partington-Palmer & Palmer Etruria Hear The Word, 11 months puppy on the bigger side of 1 and is balanced all through with really good ear carriage, moved very soundly. His thumbprints were not as well defined as the winner. 3 rd. Howard D & C. Lasagesse Jumping Jack Flash

JD (2,0) 1st Imrie W Amalric Butch Cassi-dy, no cowboy about this young man. Have admired this youngster since he first came out. He has a lovely cobby shape, well filled muzzle, good ear carriage, strong bone without being coarse and moves out well in all aspects, nice to see him maturing well. 2nd Wykewoks Marvellous Murphy

Novice (1,0) 1st Roskell Witchstone Silent Wish With Rahima, another puppy of 10mths who has a good body shape, moved well with good footfall.

Graduate (1,0) 1st Snell Moretonia Black & Decker, puppy who clearly did not like be-ing examined on the table, although I could see what I needed to and obviously very unsettled although I did notice that he had particularly good front extension.

Post Graduate (2,0) 1st Wines H, Etruria Say The Word, lovely conformation, with particularly good depth of chest, really posi-tive flowing movement and another with good footfall. 2nd Taylor K & M Neerodan Faithful Fergus, similarly constructed to 1 but a bit of a chunky monkey. Very pleasant temperament.

Limit (5, 0) 1st Forsyth & Pevy Kikuchi Hollywood Avec Richpin, Beautiful head, eyes and good expression, lovely candle flame ears, down into shoulders with good length of neck, body construction sound as a pound, resulting in free flowing move-ment. 2nd Dixon MJ, KL & FM, Witch-stone Who Dares Wins, As well constructed as 1 but whose movement let him down as he kept throwing his hind quarters out. 3rd Warren T & JML Pedara The World Is Mine

Open (6,1) This was one of those classes where any one could have taken the top honours and will change places on other days, a credit to all.

1st Dixon G&L Ch. Witchstone Mines A Double At Lasagesse There is not a lot I can say about this gorgeous chap, he has everything he needs to be the fine champion he is. It was nip and tuck between the first two places. He is solidly built and his quali-ties are there for all to see. When it came to my decision, it was his markings which edged him in front. CC & BIS 2nd Harman T & J Ch. Witchstone Crazy Horse At Boimans what can I write about this lovely man, he has many of the outstanding quali-ties as the winner, the only thing that differ-entiated them for me was his thumbprints. No doubts that he truly deserved his RCC. 3rd Leonard A Ch. Nasabe Don’t Tell Him

VD (3,0) 1st Francis, Blatchford & Leonard Ch. Witchstone Not Apache On Me At Peopleton, in absolutely fine fettle for his age and can easily put many of the younger dogs to shame. He loves strutting around the ring and you can do nothing but look at him. In this class again his thumbprints gave him his advantage. 2nd Ramsden & Kagzi Witchstone Pray You Catch Me I think he was affected by the stormy weather we all experienced at the end of the dog judging, tail carriage nor thumbprints were as good as 1. 3rd Howard D & C Lasagesse Star-man

SpBeg (1,0) 1st Keylock & Collins La-sagesse Paint It Black, how well settled he was in this class enabling him to be judged properly. He is a good size with pleasing topline due to sound construction. His love-ly personality shone through and he moved in a free flowing style of movement.

MPB (1,0) 1st Crowley Adargwn Geneva 8mths, little bit skittish but not surprising due to the weather conditions earlier on. She has a

good overall shape, nice muzzle shape and fill, ears set well. When she realised that the con-ditions were different she showed off her movement well.

PB (3.0) 1st Leonard Witchstone Silent Pray-er, lovely sized girl who is in proportion throughout from her head to her tail. In stance she is very striking although she made her handler work hard when moving her as coming back she tended to pull to one side, but a change of hands soon sorted that out. This meant a really good picture of her move-ment. In profile she really drives from power-ful hind quarters thus making her extended trot with ease. 2nd Bailey & Hancock’s

Witchstone Silent Whisper litter sister to class winner. Of a bigger size and with similar quali-ties to her sister. Particularly good hindquar-ters enabling her to move with drive, keeping her topline on the move. 3rd Imrie Amalric Mandisa Iddy

Jun (3,1) 1st Dean-Armitt Twowayshouse A Touch Of Class, Pretty bitch with good paral-lel and profile movement keeping her topline well on the move. 2nd Peters DR & LA Ettol-ogy Cherry Bakewell At Troysel Another pret-ty girl used her ears well but her movement was erratic in parallel and her thumbprints let her down also.

N (1,0) – As Minor Puppy Bitch

Gr (2,0) 1st Johnson Moretonia Royal Wren 2yrs, soundly made, good topline, movement positive and clean, shame about her running thumbprints 2nd As MPB

Limit (4,0) 1st Dixon G & L Lasagesse Black Magic Woman, lovely smaller size matching well to the BS, good head shape and well filled muzzle, good neck length, fore-chest well filled, moved freely all round. 2nd Dicker Neerodan Thyme Bomb Very similar to 1 but whose fore-chest was not as well filled. Gen-erally a good size but her hind movement was not good.

Open (6,0) 1st Haffenden & Wood Ch. Witchstone Minnehaha She is one of the most stylish and beautiful bitches that her breeders have bred. Quality flows throughout her whole body and there is little I can add that has not already been written especially as she is already classed as a veteran but there is nothing that would make you think such a thing. She moves as if on air and it’s a privi-lege to judge her. 2nd Haffenden & Wood Ch. Nasabe Play The Game JW Good shape throughout, no exaggerations but her move-ment was not as good as 1. 3 rd Francis, Blatchford & Leonard Witchstone Trouble Brewing At Peopleton

Veteran (2,0) 1st Haffenden & Wood Ch. Witchstone Minnehaha said it all in open oth-er than amazing! 2nd Dicker Ch. Neerodan Naughty Nancy VW What a pity she came up against the winner! She is in such extraordi-nary condition and she has a full clean mouth and you can really see the enjoyment she has strutting her stuff.

Spec Beg (1,0) 1 st Johnson Moretonia Royal Wren – as in graduate

Brace (1,0) 1st Forsyth & Pevy
